The tickets are not available at the Mutianyu Great Wall tickets window. All tickets must be bought online nowadays. Enter directly by scanning the passport generated when booking – a physical ticket is NOT required for cable car! Chairlift and toboggan to scan the QR code at entrance.

Note: The cable car and the chairlift with toboggan belong to two different companies and are located at different areas of the site. For families, it is recommended to choose one option only.
The cable car is generally less crowded and more suitable for both ascending and descending.
The chairlift and toboggan often require 1–3 hours of waiting in line.
